***Whenever I post Tom's actually posts or quotes from DictatorsCentral and you read them to yourselves you have to do it in "Tom Voice" It makes the posts a million times funnier. "Tom Voice" is the a deep, slow talking voice, with lots of voice flucuation. Practice it by saying the words "Der Der Derrrrr" Stuff like that, you'll get the hang of it real quick and it adds to the comic relief immensely. That is what I have always envisioned he sounds like when chatting with him before he banned The Five. I promise, its hysterical. Every post on the front page of that board was started by one of the above people... ouch.

Like, I think he seriously thinks he is the most important person in the world. And truly, he was the skinny little fifth grader who's parents ignored him, and had huge dorky glasses and was a super nerd. He started losing all his hair by age 12 and had to take estrogen pills to try and grow it back. Instead, he just started growing manboobs (like StretchArmstrong) and then discovered Dungeons and Dragons and other Role Playing Games. He got married only because he tricked some drunk Catholic girl into having sex with him, who later felt guilty and had to marry him to alleviate her conscience. I hope he never has kids. They would start off behind all the other kids in the world right off the bat, simply because of their gene pool.

Wow. Have I got a large update 'O Basket of Truth for you guys today. Tom's damage control is currently in full spin mode. He can try, but he knows members will find out what is going on soon enough. People are finding out the "True Truth" (lol!) at an alarming rate. Hey Tom and cronies, my blog has had 800+ hits the past two weeks....Egads!

Not cool. kd, fishpepin, and Wolf on the Prowl had serious reservations about DeROK doing this when he had contributed next-to-nothing to the site and wanted him out as moderator. Considering that DeROK is a medical student and that DeROK didn't have the time to post here (averaging 0.59 posts per day, mind you), setting up a blog to post his Wolves news without contributing here was an issue and I supported confronting DeROK on the issue, with the possibility of a resignation or demotion from DeROK being an outcome.

DeROK and I had a series of conversations about it and the understand was that DeROK would post more frequently and be more active on the site. In the two weeks that followed, he posted 12 times (less than once a day), and of those 12 posts 6 of them had links to articles he wrote on his blog and 2 were replies within those linked blog articles. I asked for his resignation from the staff at that point as I believe that a moderator on this site should contribute a fair amount here. I do not have a problem if a moderator or administrator does anything outside of the site but if that person is promoting his or her site here they should contribute more than just links to that site when they post. DeROK had not.

His reply essentially was a threat. If I demoted him, he would start a competing message board and go after this site and try to destroy it. At that point, we had to remove him completely and ban him. He has since collaborated with College Wolf and is posting communications through College Wolf's blog."

Well, last night Tom banned some innocent and long standing members of DictatorCentral.com. Bonk (a member of over 6 years) and DaddyFatSax (Also a member for AT LEAST six years) and TWolfTim22 (a newer member but who contributed regularily) Wow. What did they do you ask? Absolutely nothing. Bonk doesn't even have the internet at home. IT WAS A PRE-EMPTIVE BANNING BY DICTATOR TOM.

Tom also went to the length of banning Myself, Bonk, TWolfTim22, and DaddyFatSax from posting any messages in the DictatorCentral Fantasy Football and Basketball leagues. He also no longer allows us to email any members of the league. SOUNDS LIKE SOMEONE THAT IS INNOCENT AND HAS NOTHING TO HIDE HUH???

Do you all remember just a little while back when Tom removed everyone's signatures from DictatorCentral? He made some sticky post about that it could cause viruses and there were problems at other boards going on with signatures. He said that it was a "Security Issue." WELL SORRY EVERYONE, THAT WAS A BIG FAT LIE BY TOM, WHO DIDN'T LIKE WHAT PEOPLE WERE PUTTING IN THEIR SIGNATURES. There were a few brave soldiers with certain words in their signatures that DictatorTom just didn't like. Bonk posted a link to this blog, certainly not illegal or bad, DictatorTom thought it was. Therefore, he takes signatures away from everyone and LIES ABOUT IT!

Wow... this is the biggest and most facetious piece of absolute shit I have seen in a long time. Propoganda and Damage Control all in one. I guess he knows his time is running painfully short and that the end is near. He has to do something before people jump ship to a place where they will be welcomed with open arms. How pathetic that Tom made a different account (Isawitonline aka NIN aka Tom) just so he could screw with people he didn’t like and then rope them into getting in arguments with “Isawitonline” so Tom could “discipline them both” HA. Tom, you are a GROWN MAN. This is an internet message board. Wow. It is hard to even comprehend why an adult would go to such lengths.

I have been going on TWC since 2000, and absolutely loved, supported, and talked up the site non-stop. The only time I had any problems was when Tom would read my PM’s, ban people unfairly, delete posts trying to expose the truth, and lie about the aforementioned things. I go to log in today, and BOOM, no reason, just banned…for life. After being a member and contributor for SIX + years, I get banned for absolutely no reason. Just because I know the truth, and Tom knows I know the truth, and will go to any lengths to cover it all up. It actually does make me sad. Six years plus of going on TWC to follow my favorite team is now gone because the administrator is on some sort of really strange power trip.

I actually feel sorry for Tom. It’s just a power trip for him. He doesn’t even seem to really want the Wolves to ever do well. All he does is rip them. Ripping them is fine, but he never even watches the games. It’s like he runs this msg board simply so he can have power over people. I feel like he must have been picked on as a child, and this is his way of getting back at people or something? I really have no idea, and to try to analyze Tom’s brain is like trying to analyze Doc Rivers rotations-confusing. I am glad that finally more people than just CWolf, me, and Tim know the truth. Its sad how great of lengths Tom will go to in order to cover up the truth. He reads PM’s, lies about it, he deletes posts, lies about it, he creates fake accounts to antagonize people, then lies about it, he bans people for trying to expose the truth, lies about it, he lies about lying about it, then lies about it some more. I think you all get the picture.

It is sad that I have devoted this many words to the ridiculousness that is Tom Thunstroms methods of getting back at the bullies that picked on him 20 years ago. It is also sad that after 6 years of being a contributor and huge fan of this board, I get banned for the weirdest of reasons. All Derok, CW, Tim, and I ever wanted was to have a site where we could talk Timberwolves basketball openly with other fans of the team. Somewhere along the way, Tom decided to go Adolph Hitler on the bit, and now we are all gone, all banned for no real reason, and all being called liars, even though it is so obvious to anyone who actually knows the truth and the facts (unfortunately us 4 are probably about the only ones who know all of the truth, since Tom is constantly dedicated to covering his lies time after time by any means necessary) that he is the one who is the problem.

I was just going to make a small post about the continued idiocy of Tom Thunstrom, the lead dictator of MNSportsfans.com... but something bigger and even more pathetic (even for Tom's standards) dropped into my lap today. I'll get to it in a second...

The monumental news kind of ties into what I was going to blog about. Apparently Tom Gore carries intellectual property rights for everyone and everything related to Minnesota sports on the internet. I think he may also have invented Minnesota Sports as well. Oh wait, I forgot, he lives in Philadelphia and DOESN'T EVEN WATCH THE WOLVES GAMES, yet he professes to know so goddamn much about them. (Don't ask, he doesn't have NBA League Pass either...) He gets into arguments on the aforementioned site (::SARCASM:: Yeah, I totally agree with Tom that Ricky Davis should not start. ::END SARCASM::), yet doesn't even watch the Wolves first hand. Who cares right? Well, it wouldn't be so bad if he was just one of the (all too common) idiotic members of the board. HOWEVER, he is the lead administrator that runs the site. A problem... a problem that all too many of us know first hand. Well, Fuck that bullshit, we've had enough.

Tom is apparently pissed off that I have seen quotes and posts from the board that I am banned from. Big deal, people email me relevant posts. WHAT is the big fucking deal about that??? Some of you may know DeRok, one of the most passionate TimberWolves fans that I know. His website is excellent, and he recently started one of the best TWolves Blogs on the net.

We didn't always see eye to eye a couple of years ago on TWC and honestly, we were both at fault. However, we get along great now and those days are looooooooong behind us. Derok was (until very recently) a moderator on TWC and one of its most valued members. His contributions to that website over the years have been invaluable, all the while going through Med School. So, its not like he has TONS of free time on his hands. That just goes to shows his dedication to not only the Wolves, but TWolvesCentral.com as well.

Well, this story was all happy and rosy until Derok started his own TWolves Blog. Why the big deal you ask? He already had a huge sports related website with a Wolves section. So, why would anyone have a problem with that you ask? Isn't it good for the community of Wolves fans that there is as much info on the net about the Wolves as possible, you ask? I asked all those same questions. Dictator Tom Did Not ask those questions. Tom asked questions like, Why are you stabbing us here at TWC in the back? Tom asked, Why are you starting a Wolves blog? Tom asked, What is your problem Derok? Tom asked, Why are you so much cooler than I am? (Ok, well maybe he didn't ask that last one, but he should!)

A long story short, Tom doesn't like the fact that Derok started a blog (one that will soon be infinitely better than the craptastic MNSportsFans.com...no offense Eric, its not your fault.) Tom is pissed that Jerry In Blaine (sometimes) and Myself write for this new TWolvesBlog and that it doesn't suck. Tom banned me from TWolvesCentral. I'll let Derok tell you what Tom did to him. Fishpepin proceeded to edit my post, even though it
didn't violate any of the rules and it was not
offensive in any way. Tom proceeded to post as "NIN"
his fake "member" account, and said: Here, I'll post
the article for you all...you'd think the moderator
who's posting this stuff at his own site would share
them here....

So he and fish deleted links to my article and then
proceeded to copy and post the article off of
derok.net without my permission. Hmm... ever heard of
a COPYRIGHT violation? Seriously, does Tom think he
owns the internet and has the right to steal any
material that he'd like? My site has a very clear
copyright notice on every page.

Tom then posted in the moderator section and told me
that I should think about resigning as moderator. He
said that I haven't been contributing to the site
enough and that my new blog was a conflict of
interest.

I told Tom that I was sorry I was too busy saving
people's lives each day to post on his internet
message board as much as he'd like. And I told him
that there was no way I was resigning and that he'd
have to fire me. But that if he did, he needed to be
aware of one thing...

I told him that I was trying to be partners with his
site, that I wanted to work together and have a good
relationship. I told him that I'd done nothing wrong,
and if anything, he's been the one editng my posts
without reason, stealing content from my sites, and
generally giving me a hard time for the past three
weeks. And despite all of this, I still wanted to
contribute to the board, be part of the community, and
stay on as moderator.

But if he decided to fire me, I'd show him what true
"competition" is. I told him I would start my own
Timberwolves message board and that I would do
everything in my power to bury mnsportsfans.com. I
told him that I already had a group of people who
would go with me to start this new site and his board
didn't stand a chance against my quailty content and
commitment to the first ammendment.

I told him one last time that I really wanted to have
everything be nice and work together, but if he wanted
to take his ball and go home, that was his choice.

So this morning, i tried to logon to mnsportsfans.com
and found that I was no longer able to. The site
brings up an error message every time. [HA!!! I told you guys, that "error message" is a bitch!] By logging in
with one of my alternate names, I found that I had
been downgraded to "member" status.

So without cursing anyone out, starting any type of
fight, or doing anything bad. By simply posting a
link to an article I wrote, very much like
stephenwolves guy does every time, I not only lost my
moderator status, but I was banned from the site. All
I am guilty of is providing quality Wolves content to
my fellow fans, trying to be civil and work with the
board. But since Tom couldn't have complete control
over me, he decided to take control by stealing
content off my website and banning me.

So, gather the troops. Notify them that the messge
board at twolvesblog.com will be open for business
this weekend and that mnsportsfans.com is officially
getting buried.


It's really too bad that the once great TWolvesCentral has reverted into what it is today, run by one of the worst website administrators that I have ever come across. What a sad, sad story. Oh well, I guess all good things come to an end, right?

Tom is a dictator that abuses his power. That's it, that's the end of the story. The Alpha and the Omega. It's just the way things are and will be, for now and forever.

He no longer has one iota of respect from me...

Well… I thought I was gonna be done with this all. Nope, fuck it. Certain people continue to relish in the opportunity to take pot shots at me that I can’t even respond to. I did notice him crying that while on mod review only KD would approve
his posts. That's not true. I approved quite a few, and I didn't even
respond harshly to PMs from CW bi+ching about having to wait for approval. (How mature/wise is it to antagonize the very people you need a favor from?) Instead, I took the time out of my day and simply went about my (unpaid) job and read, judged, and approved every pointless post he put out there. As did the other mods when they had time.

Problem is, he broke rules and complained about it, instead of correcting his behavior. It is all on him. Being the lead moderator on a Vikings Fan web forum I have sympathy for Tom. I've seen a few people like CW, it does not matter what your approach is. They are going to do what they want regardless of the black and white rule, then complain when you enforce the rule. He is taking it to another level in trying to garner support through a blog. Problem is, most of us frequent posting members are happy he is gone.

Your "staff" continues to rip posters who have honest complaints about the new changes. Instead of changing their tone, and listening to the criticisms they spew this crap about people acting like babies. The worst part about it is that we have no power to offer our opinions or rebuttal without getting a slap on the wrist. The fact of the matter is that some of the Mods are acting like babysitter's when they don't need to be.

As for the clarifications, I understand your take. But I am still witnessing a double-standard. Is it fair that Mods call us "children" for complaints? Is it fair that some posters aren't held to these same strict guidelines as others? I had to cry foul before anyone did anything about Synthi's post bashing another poster for no reason. Your "staff" looked over that one, and you were the only person that did anything about it.

I'm not a child, and I don't behave like one on these boards. But if I see an honest to goodness double-standard I'm going to voice my concern about it. I think these kinds of things are going to be inevitable with these new changes and somebody has to keep it consistent, because the "staff" certainly isn't.

Where do I start?


Being forced to resort to alternative means to get my voice and more importantly, getting the truth out, is not necessarily a bad thing. For those of you that know/knew me as College Wolf on a Timberwolves chat forum, you may or may not be wondering to yourself, "Where did CW go?" The answer, my friends, is complicated.


I know that not everyone loved me, hell not even everyone liked me. That's beside the point. Last week The Lead Dictator, more commonly known as "TWTom" kicked me off the site for no reason and without warning. Honestly, I think he was pissed that I was becoming more popular than him on his own site. And I somehow managed to top him in post count, to boot. I'll admit, we both had an absurd 7,000+ posts. (One difference, he's 30 and I was a college student. haha!) Watch out if you are someone he dislikes, because he can and will block your access to the site with a nifty little IP Blocker, that gives you a deceptive, trendy little error message stating:

If you get that message, watch out because you are in trouble. I am sure you simply disagreed with one of Tom's opinions or argued back with him after one of his patented personal attacks, but hey, not everything in this world is fair and balanced. Speaking of which, I love Tom's ability to second guess/criticize/rip/mock other people of authority such as Kevin McHale (started a failed petition for his ouster), Glen Taylor, Coach Duane Casey, Coach Mason, Philly sports figures, the list goes on and on. But, as the public authority and figure head of this said MN Sports site, he can't take one iota of criticism. It's funny, because more often than not HE is the one that instigates events. As a person in his position, I would think it would be common knowledge that you won't agree with and get along with everyone, but he should most certainly NOT be getting in arguments with members. You should have seen him in the past before all this shit went down. Classic.


Tom and I have had spats in the past (mostly pertaining to his unfair dictatorship like monitoring of the said website) But really, this last one takes the cake. Since I was suddenly removed from accessing this site, which means I also cannot make any posts in defense of myself or to explain the situation. I know what Tom said about this situation and how things went down (right before he closed the thread, naturally.) A blessing in disguise though, because now I have this unfiltered and uncensored forum to get the truth out. Not only that, I now get to avoid getting in spats with Tom's minions and personal friends that he coddles like children in their endeavors to start some amazing fucking shit with people on the website. So Tom, thank you for giving me the opportunity to discover this new medium. I took much more joy in my off topic posts, social commentary on nights out on the town, and playful banter with (normal, non-asshole) members. No more quarrelling about how much ass Coach Casey blows and then getting yelled at by Tom and his hand picked administrators for stating truths. No more getting censored for funny, light hearted posts just to chat. (Oops I posted a McHale sucks thread in the Wolves forum. What is the answer, "BAN BAN BAN!")


I've made some posts that probably should have been removed, but goddamn who hasn't? Current members make posts that should be removed but are not, due to their personal friendships with Stali... err Tom. I personally love their attacks against members that don't get moderated or removed. I've sneezed and gotten those posts removed. I honestly believe that I was scrutinized with the single worst bias in moderation of anyone ever on that site. Sad, but that's truth.


Not to brag, but there have been some pretty dead days that I single handedly carried that site. More than Tom can say. Well, scratch that... Tom is good at copying and pasting articles from over the net and then not commenting on them. Good work, way to foster conversation. I can now get drunk and post whatever the fuck I want. This concept excites me. Honestly it does.


Let's get to what is important. I was recently banned because I made a post cursing out George Bush for signing the bullshit anti-gambling safe harbor law that was piggybacked onto some other legitimate law. Unsurprisingly, it passed. It's fucking bullshit. Just ask MarkD. The one topic I have most ever agreed with him about. In my post, I curse Bush and comment that my $14,000+ gambling funds have been frozen and I am pissed. (Who wouldn't be.) They were frozen overnight with no warning to me whatsoever. Literally, 6 hours after making a bet I could no longer access the money. Well, lo and behold Tom comes out being a condescending, know-it-all. (I got in trouble for those last four words! Personal Attack, ha!) Basically, he talks down to me, lectures me about not knowing what was going on, ostracizing me, talking down to me and using my name instead of "College Wolf" etc etc....


Of course I respond, who wouldn't? The thing is, it was the admin of the site talking like this. And we've had problems in the past. He knows that. Why does he instigate things? What does that help? Anyhow, of course his cronies jump in and start a three-pronged aerial, frontal, and water assault on me. (Are they Bush supporters? Was that what pissed everyone off so much?) Because honestly, I was the victim that lost my gambling funds, why the need for additional personal attacks? Of course, Tom being the wonderful moderator that he is, doesn't delete any of their attacks, (even after I use the "Report Post" function that nobody else uses.) Instead, I get incensed enough that Tom eventually deletes posts of mine and closes the thread. Ha! Good problem solving skills. I attempt to post two more threads asking what is going on and why the personal attacks (That Tom promptly deletes) and before I know it I am found on Mod-review. The only other person on Mod-review was 'isawitonline' (Saw what? The plethora of lies and bullshit that you post?) This person happens to be a friend of Tom's. Go figure.


Mod-Review for me is like being banned because the only moderator that ever approved any of my posts was KD, god bless her heart. Heaven forbid she wasn't online because then I basically had to bend over and take it in the ass and was de facto banned until she got back. Not only that, I had to watch what I typed in my posts like a goddamn 3 year old, because any disagreement, argument, strong opinions or WHATEVER would not get posted. Total bullshit.


Before I knew, the horrible "ERROR, haha!" message came up both at work AND home and I could no longer access TWolvesCentral. I couldn't see the forum, log-in, or even surf as a guest. Nothing. And because of that I couldn't respond to posts about my removal. Well... now's my chance.


The first response was a simple plea, asking where I was and what happened. Tom's friends all jump in and post that they are happy I am gone. Weird right? Of course, Tom declines to give a straight answer.

Vile Email number two:

”Yeah. ok. I'm not "Banned" you just blocked my IP so I can't go to the site. Your maturity in this situation is to be lauded.”


His response:
”No, your IP isn't banned either. What errors are you getting?”

- Wow, just lying through your fucking teeth. See people, I told you he is a liar. I guess he would say otherwise, but read for yourself.


Vile email number three:

”Wow. Good one Tom. You must think I am a real idiot.

Did you EVER stop and think that the only people I have problems with are the people that bait and goad myself (and others) into confrontation.... people like YOU and your friends. That's it. Those are the problem people. Know why? Cause no one can do anything to you and you coddle your friends with the power that you abuse.

- Another overly harsh and vile email right here folks. Ouch Tom, how can you sleep at night when you are getting insulted like this... or I mean, having the truth pointed out to you. His response:


”Naw, just doing something I should have done a long time ago. Tune you out completely.

If you don't like it, take your ball with you and go home. If you want to play nice and follow the rules, you'll be brought back in time.

- Tom, I thought you were nice and not condescending? Hmmm, guess not as this email points out. Openly mocking me for trying to resolve this and point out truths in this situation. I was more mature than you when I was five than you are at thirty.



Well, there you have it folks. The “Other” side of the story. The side that Tom doesn’t want anyone to know. Is that what you want the once great TWolvesCentral to become? A place where everyone toes the party line? Agrees with everyone and everything? Don't dissent, you'll be banned. Don't criticize sports figures... (At least don't be too harsh)

Now you all can read and digest to form your own opinions on this matter. You may or may not care, but I had to get this out there. I will now sleep better at night. You can look for non-TWC updates in the future.
